pool boys was written in 2009 and conceived as the first feature film for that-a-way. We are looking to film in midwest in the late summer months.

Part odyssey, part detective thriller, Pool Boys follows two co-workers - Trevor and Chesterton - after they lose their reliable summer jobs cleaning the city pool due to city budget cuts. After a dangerous encounter with a polar bear on a neighborhood street, the pair wander through a maze of lost souls, odd neighbors, mystic strangers and suspicious authority figures. The bear baffles the pool boys, as well as local investigators. Trevor wants to find out where the bear came from, and Chesterton wants to know who has been cleaning the public pool since they left.

Combining surrealism, slapstick and suspense, Pool Boys promises to be an exciting summer comedy, and a brilliant start to that-a-way feature productions.
